Coaches (2019-2020)

This will be Nick’s eight year coaching with TPRR.  Nick comes from a swimming background with the North York Aquatic Club in Ontario where he swam at the Age Group Provincial level.  At that time, he was a flyer, and backstroker.  After taking a good number of years away from the sport, he realized that just wasn’t going to cut it.  After getting into running, he started training for triathlons which got him once again in the pool where he was recruited to coach for TPRR.  Over the last couple of years, Nick has led  TPRR swimmers to both individual and team accomplishments, including Age-Group National Times, Provincial Relay Members, medals at both AA Man/Sask and Junior A Provincials SC and LC.  in 2018 he was recognized as a Sport Manitoba Coach of the Month.  Now in his eight year of coaching, Nick is Swim 101 Certified, has his NCCP Theory 2, and is working towards gaining his Swim 201 certification.  Nick encourages swimmers of all levels to swim for fitness, fun, and friendship.
